Georgia (she/her)
Director, Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and Counsellor (ACA L2)
What I stand for
I see the people I work with as the experts in their own lives, and therapy as something we do together — not something I “do to” someone.
I work from an intersectional lens, recognising that people’s experiences are shaped by the interaction of identity, culture, disability, and broader systems. I also take a harm minimisation approach, which means I focus on understanding behaviours in context, reducing harm where needed, and supporting safer, more sustainable ways of coping — guided by each families own goals and values.
My approach is neuroaffirming, collaborative, and grounded in autonomy, consent, and understanding.

Experience
I have lived and worked on Arrernte Country in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) since 2019, providing Speech Pathology across remote communities, schools, supported living settings, correctional environments, and private practice.
Since 2025, I have also provided counselling grounded in Narrative Therapy, alongside approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I contribute to adult Autism assessments using the MIGDAS framework.
My positionality
I recognise the privilege I hold, particularly working on Arrernte Country, and aim to practice in ways that are culturally responsive and informed by ongoing learning from First Nations people and communities, as well as people of colour.
My own lived experience of neurodivergence and chronic pain also informs my work, supporting me to hold space with greater understanding and care.
A bit about me
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time with my birds — my cockatiel, Chickpea, and my budgies, Joey and Rocket. They’ve been a long-time special interest of mine and are a big part of how I unwind.
